Personally working at Nintendo has been a great learning experience of what fun is, me personally, I don't think a super realistic driving experience is as fun as spinning a remote and riding around blasting my friends with shells. Agreed, the graphics doesn't have to upgrade when it's competition I.E. Resistance 2 hasn't built on it's graphics either. Honesty at hand here, the graphic upgrade from R1 to R2 is like Goldeneye 007 to Perfect Dark on the N64 and as I previously stated, they both are a lot more entertaining and fun.
Today in Epic Games camp is 'Gears of War 2 Media Day', they are showing gamers they're stuff and I'm quite impressed. I mean it has no foothold on the monster that is Zelda or Super Mario Galaxy but it is ions better than the steaming pile of mediocrity that Insomniac released at Playstation 3's launch. But I'll cut them some slack because it was a launch title, but to be perfectly honest, Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark on the Nintendo 64 was far more fun than Resistance.
Gran Turismo 5: Prologue is nothing but a fancy show of shininess, it has no hold on such fun titles like Mario Kart Wii. Mentioning GT5:P is absolutely absurd compared to the raytracing on the Bullet Bill kart in the game.
I beg to differ you see, the Wii architecture is entirely composed of pixie dust and hormones to create a visceral way to track motion sensing. The CPU and GPU are practically thin air that can process even the most difficult calculations known to computer engineering. Trust me, I am sure that "The Cell" is completely bogus and cannot run the simplist processes, much like the Xbox.
